Our Freestanding Emergency Department is a 25,000-square-foot facility, located at the intersection of US 280 and Alabama 119 in north Shelby County. One
of the first of its kind in Alabama, Brookwood Baptist Health's freestanding emergency room will provide hospital-level emergency services.
The facility provides around-the-clock care by board-certified emergency medicine physicians, and specialty physicians available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. With a full range of on-site diagnostic and lab services, patients can be treated for a variety of unexpected emergencies.
