Kevin Flynn Named Chief Strategy Officer of Brookwood Baptist Health System

BIRMINGHAM, ALA. - Jan 3, 2020 - Kevin Flynn has been named chief strategy officer (CSO) of the Brookwood Baptist Health System. Most recently, Flynn served as CSO of Princeton Baptist Medical Center with overall responsibility for strategic planning for the hospital and its service area. Since joining Princeton in 2018, Flynn has been instrumental in expanding one of Tenet Health’s largest robotic surgery programs and refortifying the hospital’s cardiac program.

Flynn is a seasoned healthcare administrator with more than 20 years of leadership experience in strategic planning, business development, operations and physician practice management. He previously served in leadership roles in hospitals and health systems in Alabama, Mississippi and Texas.

Flynn received his bachelor of science from the University of Alabama and earned his master of business administration and master of health administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. As well, he completed a fellowship in healthcare administration at Baylor Health Care System in Dallas.
