Ken Hendren Named Chief Financial Officer of Brookwood Baptist Health System

Ken Hendren has been named Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Brookwood Baptist Health System and Brookwood Baptist Medical Center. A senior level healthcare executive with more than 14 years of financial leadership, Ken previously served at Northeast Georgia Health System, a four-hospital entity based in Gainesville, Ga.

Ken HendrenThroughout the years, Ken has held financial positions of leadership with increasing responsibility, including CFO roles in North Carolina and Tennessee. Prior to his most recent appointment, he served as Director of Cost Accounting and Cost Analytics for the Carolinas Healthcare System (now Atrium Health) in Charlotte, N.C., the second largest public health system in the U.S. with 44 hospitals, 70,000 employees and $10B in net patient revenue.

In addition to his financial experience, Ken also has a clinical background, having served earlier in his career as a registered respiratory therapist and registered pulmonary function technologist. He later earned a Bachelor of Science in biology and Master of Business Administration in accounting at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga followed by his Public Accountant certification. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in data analytics from Georgia Institute of Technology.
