Brookwood Baptist Partners with Grille29 to Fight Breast Cancer

Taking Out Breast Cancer One Meal at a Time
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – October 3, 2016 – Brookwood Baptist Health is set to kick-off its partnership with Grille29 in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month with an after-hours social event this upcoming Wednesday, October 5 from 5-6pm hosted at the Grille29 restaurant in Brookwood Village.
Throughout the month of October, Grille29 will be offering an inspired 3-course meal prepared by Executive Chef, Daniel Mitchell, for only $29. Ten percent of the proceeds from each meal will be given to Brookwood Baptist Health and then transferred to a credible breast cancer research organization.
"We are always looking for opportunities to support our community,” said Troy Goldman, Director of Operations for Restaurant Partners, Inc., Grille29’s restaurant and property owner. “As October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we thought it fitting to partner with Brookwood Baptist Health in raising money for Breast Cancer research and continuing their mission of support for patients and their families."
At the kick-off event, members from both Grille29 & Brookwood Baptist Health will share remarks on the importance of this partnership and what it means for the community. The restaurant will also be providing hors d’oeurvres and 50% off all drinks until 6pm. In addition, the special “pink” 3-course menu will be introduced which includes: starter/Stuffed Acorn Squash, entrée/Grilled Flat Iron Steak, dessert/Fondue for a Cure.
