Jay Pennisson Named CFO of Brookwood Baptist Health System and Brookwood Baptist Medical Center

Brookwood Baptist Health today announced Jay Pennisson has been named group chief financial officer, Brookwood Baptist Health, and chief financial officer, Brookwood Baptist Medical Center. A seasoned financial leader within Tenet Healthcare, Pennisson joins the Brookwood Baptist Health family having recently served as chief financial officer and vice president of Finance for Tenet’s Texas Region, including 21 acute care hospitals and seven micro-hospitals under the Tenet umbrella.

Pennisson first joined Tenet as a controller at Meadowcrest Hospital in Gretna, La., and throughout the years has held financial positions of leadership with increasing responsibility. Prior to his most recent appointment, he served as chief financial officer of Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, S.C., and thereafter as chief financial officer of Atlanta Medical Center.
