Formerly Brookwood Medical Center and Baptist Health System, Brookwood Baptist Health unifies two of the largest resources for high-quality, affordable healthcare for the citizens of Central Alabama. With roots extending nearly a century, the network’s community of care is comprised of five acute care hospitals with more than 1,700 licensed beds: Brookwood Baptist Medical Center, Princeton Baptist Medical Center, Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Walker Baptist Medical Center and Citizens Baptist Medical Center.

Brookwood Baptist Health also provides patients with the largest primary care network in the state, which includes approximately 60 primary and specialty care clinics; approximately 1,500 affiliated physicians; and nearly 7,300 employees. Congresswoman Terri Sewell Delivers Floor Speech to Congress Recognizing Princeton's 100th Anniversary

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – April 27, 2022 – Today, Congresswoman Terri A. Sewell (AL-07) delivered a floor speech to Congress recognizing the 100th Anniversary of Princeton Baptist Medical Center and Baptist Health System.

“We are so grateful to the Congresswoman for recognizing our medical center as we celebrate this milestone of serving our community for 100 years,” said Mike Neuendorf, CEO of Princeton Baptist Medical Center. “We are thankful to her for offering us this opportunity to continue to reflect and express sincere gratitude to our current staff and those who have served our hospital over the years.”

With a photo of the hospital next to her, Congresswoman Sewell shared more about the hospital’s history and commended Princeton’s profound contributions to the medical profession.
