Even with the expiration of the State of Alabama’s mask mandate at 5 p.m. on April 9, you must wear a mask to enter and to remain inside ANY Brookwood Baptist Health facility, including Brookwood Baptist Medical Center, Citizens Baptist Medical Center, Princeton Baptist Medical Center, Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Walker Baptist Medical Center and our Freestanding Emergency Department.

Patients Enjoy Visits from Santa

NICU babies, patient families and those visiting the hospital received a special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus at Brookwood Baptist. Santa received numerous Christmas wishes for toys, cruises, new houses and more. Santa asked one special patient was he ready for Christmas and the young visitor said, “I’m ready NOW!”

Christmas Caroling for Patients

Employees at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center spent Thursday, Dec. 13 caroling for patient in various units throughout the hospital. Patients in Psych, the main lobby, the surgical waiting areas enjoyed seasonal holiday tunes like “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer,” “Silent Night,” “Joy to the World” and others.

Patients Enjoyed Harp Music in the Main Lobby

College student Gretchen Monson came to play Christmas Music on her harp Thursday, December 13th in the Main Lobby from 10:00 am – 11:30 am. Patients enjoyed various tunes to get them in the mood for the holiday season.
